ring fetish

with only one class period left before final exams,
i have been one busy bee.
the life of an education major is a stresssful one, for sure.
{it doesn't help that i'm the ultimate procrasintor}
alas, i can't wait for august 15th when i'll have one
FULL week off to do whatever i please. it will be glorious.
until then, eating sushi is about as exciting as it gets

i underestimated seaweed salad's odd texture

totally didn't realize i was holding up TWO pieces of sushi. mad skills!


how amazingly fantastic is my new alligator ring from target?!
i just wiiish it wasn't adjustable. omgah, please last forever.

proteinalicious

just wanted to share with you my very favorite
breakfast of 2010. while i used to rely on
cereal every morning to get me through class
i've rediscovered how quickly one can make
scrambled eggs.
i like melting colby jack cheese on mine
with a sprinkle of salt and pepper
atop toasted whole grain bread
with a few slices of tomato, spinach leaves,
and a bit of {cholesterol free} mayonnaise

chinese vegetables


i get out of grad classes pretty late,
late enough to the point that i don't get home
til at least 9pm.
at that point in time, i'm starving
but not willing to cook anything
besides pasta or popcorn.
enter Great Wall.
egg drop soup & mixed chinese vegetables
and tofu with steamed rice.
and fortune cookies!
to collect, not eat.
winning combination every time.
