watching the creepy medical scene from E.T. in the park

this past weekend, my bff brittany mentioned that the mt.p waterfront park was showing E.T. on an inflatable screen and suggested we go. a few phone calls later, we had a group of participants and a handful of blankets to lay on the grass. not only did i get to eat boiled peanuts and cotton candy from the various vendors at the event, but i also got over my fear of the movie's "hospital" scene. thankkk goodness.

afterwards, everyone met up at dan's apartment to play the big taboo. as always, girls won! then, we moved our game piece back to the space the boys were on...and beat them again. relentless.

so as you know, my bff went traveling around Europe

for a month this summer, visiting Germany, France, and England.

while in London, she bought me this sparkly headband

at TopShop, which i adore. i mean, helloooo...sequins. and flowers.

dear summer,

oh how i love you.

particulary on this past gloriiious sunday

which was spent in the sun and ocean

reading cosmo aloud and jumping off of shoulders.

dining beachside at coconut joes with a

beverage of rum and citrus juice,

eating a veggie wrap and deliciously crunchy french fries

was the cherry on top.
