many hours have been spent in the library recently. creating smartboard files is pretty much one of the most time-consuming things everrr. but it's worth it. you see, while teaching a 90 minute lesson on cause&effect to second graders, my professor (who was observing) handed me a post-it that said "wow. superb!" also, we had a conference this morning and she said she wished she had a video camera with her so she could have recorded my lesson. that's so beyond awesome i have no words.

thiiis is my poor little amigo being loaded onto a tow truck. in case you couldn't already tell. while driving to class this week, it sort of...broke down at a stop sign. lucky for me, it was on a safe street with little traffic and i have a AAA card. though my car's been making awful noises for the last few months, it turns out they're from non-essential parts under the hood (such as a loose heat shield). regardless, i'm -$280 richer and my car still makes noises. but it's running. sooo that's good.

i violently shiver when in temperatures below 68. i swear. soo, fall is not exactly my favorite season ever. i prefer spring. however, i am utterly obsessed with bonfires and smores. so much in fact, that when it started raining on nicholas and i, we put up a beach umbrella to stay dry...while still toasting marshmallows over our fire. baha. i love that he doesn't think i'm crazy.

soooo, after the state fair. the whole family (&friends) went out partying at five points. i can't even explain how much fun i had. this was one of the best nights ever. enjoy some of the highlights.
